(Washington, DC) Starting at 9 pm on Friday, May 18 through 5 pm on Saturday, May 19 motorists may encounter alternating single lane conditions and traffic stoppages along segments of Canal Road between Arizona Avenue and the Chain Bridge Road in northwest Washington.

The lane closures will be required to allow crews to resurface the roadway along this stretch.

Temporary signs and traffic control measures will be in place to alert and guide the traveling public through this area.
