The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will reduce the 11th Street local bridge to one inbound lane and one outbound lane on December 26, after the morning rush, to complete construction work on the bridge deck.
WASHINGTON, DC – The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will reduce the 11th Street local bridge to one inbound lane and one outbound lane on December 26, after the morning rush, to complete construction work on the bridge deck.
There are currently two inbound lanes and one outbound lane on the 11th Street local bridge. The lane reduction will remain in place through January 14, 2013 while crews complete the bridge deck construction. Once completed, the bridge will reopen to two lanes in each direction and include the new 16-feet pedestrian and bicycle path that connects to the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail.
