The Government of the District of Columbia Office of Contracting and Procurement on behalf of the District of Columbia Department of Transportation is seeking a contractor to perform asset management services to maintain and preserve specific lighting assets within the District of Columbia.
The Contractor shall manage and rehabilitate over 70,000 lighting assets and the supporting systems along all of District alleys, streets (including streetlights on traffic signal combination poles), highways, pedestrian/bike bridges and trails, hi-mast, underpasses, tunnels, bridges including under deck lights and navigation lights, overhead guide signs, special lights, such as radio tower lights, and China Town Lights, and other assets including manholes and handholes. The South Capitol Bridge electrical system management is in the scope. The Contractor shall maintain and rehabilitate the Welcome to Washington signs including the structure. All electrical components such as panels and junction boxes that contain equipment/materials covered by the contract are under the Contractors responsibility.
