DDOT to Participate in Health and Fitness Expo

(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) invites you to visit its booth at the NBC4 Health and Fitness Expo this weekend; you could win a free child safety seat or a Capital Bikeshare membership!

The Expo is scheduled for Saturday, January 15 and Sunday, January 16 in Exhibit Halls B and C of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. DDOT will be in booth S-12, right across the aisle from DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services (FEMS).

Experts will be on hand to distribute safety information and to demonstrate the proper installation of child safety seats. DDOT will also raffle off free car seats twice a day (11 am and 2 pm). Stop by the booth for more information.

Staff will also be available to answer questions and distribute information about the regional Capital Bikeshare system operated by the District and Arlington. Five lucky participants at the Health and Fitness Expo will win free annual memberships, worth $75 each. DDOT will also distribute free one-day memberships to people who want to try out the system.
