DDOT Announces a Notice of Availability for the Klingle Valley Trail Final Environmental Assessment

The Klingle Valley Trail Final Environmental Assessment (EA) will be available for public review from January 13, 2011 to February 15, 2011.

In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA), the Council of Environmental Quality (CEQ) regulations (40 CFR 1500-1508), and the FHWA’s Environmental Impact and Related Procedures (23 CFR 771); the FHWA and DDOT prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA) which was released for agency and public review on June 4, 2010. A public hearing was held on June 23, 2010. Subsequently, the Final EA has been prepared to address agency and public comments received, and identify FHWA/DDOT’s Preferred Alternative and options after the consideration of public and agency comments.
