Invitation for Bids for Uninterruptable Power Supply—Phase II—FHWA Project

The Department of Transportation desires to solicit Invitations for Bids (IFBs) for Uninterruptable Power Supply—Phase II—FHWA a contractor to supply and install bolts on uninterruptable power sources (UPS) on existing controller cabinets.

The Department of Transportation desires to solicit Invitations for Bids (IFBs) for Uninterruptable Power Supply—Phase II—FHWA a contractor to supply and install bolts on uninterruptable power sources (UPS) on existing controller cabinets. The District contemplates awarding a firm-fixed price contract. The basic term of the contract will be for a period of 1 year from date of award specified on the cover page of the contract.

A non-refundable deposit of $30.00 will be charged for all bidding materials on this project. This deposit must be by check or money order made payable to the DC Treasurer. Wage rates have been predetermined by the Secretary of the Department of Labor and are included in this contract.

A BID BOND IS REQUIRED.

TITLE VI OF THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACT OF 1964, AS AMENDED.

During the performance of the Contract, the Contractor and any of its subcontractors shall comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended. This Act provides that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color or national origin, be excluded from participation in, or be denied the benefits of or be subject to discrimination in federally funded program and activities. See 42 U.S.C. §2000d et seq.

A copy of the IFB is available for pick up at the 3rd floor Bid Room at the Reeves Municipal Center located at 2000 14th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20009.

Bids must be delivered no later than 2:00 pm on July 19, 2012 to the Department of Public Works, Office of Administrative Services, Construction Contracts Support Branch, Reeves Center, 2000 14th Street, NW, 3rd Floor Bid Room.
