The Department of Transportation desires to solicit Invitations for Bids (IFBs) for Federal Aid Citywide Streetlight Construction.
The Department of Transportation desires to solicit Invitations for Bids (IFBs) for Federal Aid Citywide Streetlight Construction. The work consists of upgrading existing streetlights and installing new streetlights on the roadways in the District of Columbia. The District contemplates awarding a firm-fixed price contract. The term of the contract will be for a period of 1 year from the starting date of the Notice to Proceed.
This solicitation is a local Open Market.
A BID BOND IS REQUIRED.
TITLE VI OF THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACT OF 1964, AS AMENDED.
During the performance of the Contract, the Contractor and any of its subcontractors shall comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended. This Act provides that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color or national origin, be excluded from participation in, or be denied the benefits of or be subject to discrimination in federally funded program and activities. See 42 U.S.C. ยง2000d et seq.

A copy of the IFB is available for pick up at the 3rd floor Bid Room at the Reeves Municipal Center located at 2000 14th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20009.
The cost per set of specification is $50.00
Bids must be delivered no later than 2:00 pm on July 24, 2012 to the Department of Public Works, Office of Administrative Services, Construction Contracts Support Branch, Reeves Center, 2000 14th Street, NW, 3rd Floor Bid Room.
