(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is hosting a construction kick-off meeting on Tuesday, February 8 for the Adams Morgan Streetscape Project. At the meeting DDOT staff will provide details about the project schedule, maintenance of traffic plans and other related activities that will occur during construction.
Construction for this project is scheduled to start on February 22, 2011 and take approximately 15 months to complete, weather permitting.
This project will include roadway and sidewalk reconstruction, landscape improvements and new lighting fixtures on 18th Street, NW between Florida Avenue and Columbia Road.
