Ward 3 Transportation Town Hall Meeting 

Councilmember Mary M. Cheh and District Department of Transportation (DDOT) Director Terry Bellamy are co-hosting a town hall meeting on Monday, May 7 to discuss Ward 3 transportation issues.

(Washington, DC) Councilmember Mary M. Cheh and District Department of Transportation (DDOT) Director Terry Bellamy are co-hosting a town hall meeting on Monday, May 7 to discuss Ward 3 transportation issues.

As part of the meeting, DDOT will present an update on various Ward 3 transportation related initiatives that are planned for the future and currently underway. The Glover Park and Cleveland Park transportation projects and the Ward 3 Livability Study will be amongst the key initiatives that will be discussed.

An overview will also be presented on the role and function of the administrations that make up the DDOT agency. Representatives from DDOT’s Infrastructure Project Management Administration (IPMA); Policy, Planning and Sustainability Administration (PPSA); Progressive Transportation Services Administration (PTSA); Transportation Operations Administration (TOA); and the Public Space Operations Project (PSOP) will be on hand to listen to residents and answer questions.

DDOT will also discuss how its Asset Management Division - the division responsible for the quality of the District's streets, bridges, tunnels, alleys and sidewalks - prioritizes maintenance activities and related customer service requests.

Ward 3 residents are encouraged to attend, ask questions and provide input.

The information materials that will be presented at this meeting will also be made available online at ddot.dc.gov after the meeting takes place.
