Public Meeting for Florida Avenue NE Transportation Improvements

DDOT is hosting the second of three public meetings to guide the Florida Avenue Multimodal Transportation Study. Members of the community are encouraged to attend this meeting to discuss the future of Florida Avenue, NE.
(Washington DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is hosting the second of three public meetings to guide the Florida Avenue Multimodal Transportation Study. Members of the community are encouraged to attend this meeting to discuss the future of Florida Avenue NE.
Focusing on the Florida Avenue NE corridor from New York Avenue to H Street and Benning Road, the study will evaluate traffic safety, streetscape and operational enhancements to improve this important corridor. Participants will receive an update on project findings to date and will have an opportunity to recommend transportation improvements for portions of the study area through an interactive exercise.
