(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is hosting a public meeting to update the public on the 18th Street, NW Reconstruction Project that is currently underway between Massachusetts and Florida Avenues.

Construction on the project is nearing completion. Major activities are set to wrap up in March with landscaping and “punch list” items scheduled for completion in April. The $6 million project began in January 2010 and is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

This project is just south of the Adams Morgan Streetscape Project that is scheduled to begin next week. A representative from the Adams Morgan Streetscape Project will be present for the Q&A portion of the meeting to answer any questions residents may have about that project.
