(Washington, DC) – The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is hosting a Parking Summit on December 4 to report on the input received from the recent series of community Think Tanks held throughout the District. The purpose of the Think Tanks was to gauge the state of parking and solicit input on the future of curbside parking management in the District.
As part of the community conversations, DDOT also participated in an online live chat and distributed an online survey. More than 150 people attended the community meetings; more than 40 participated in the on-line chat; and 680 survey responses were received.
DDOT will share what it heard from the public and how this input may potentially shape the outcome and future of comprehensive curbside parking management for the District.
