(Washington D.C.) The District Department of Transportation's (DDOT) Office of Civil Rights (OCR) is hosting a Contract Law for Federal Aid Projects Workshop Series. The workshops are free of charge and open to all DDOT/WMATA-certified DBE firms as well as other small business enterprises. The sessions will be facilitated by Pamela Bethel and Carol O’Riordan, senior partners at the O’Riordan Bethel Law Firm, LLP.
Securing a DDOT federal aid contract means working in a high-stakes and heavily regulated environment which can be overwhelming. This interactive workshop series will help firms understand the contracting process and requirements so that they can better position themselves to successfully bid and perform the work.
