(Washington, DC) – The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) in cooperation with the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) has initiated a planning study for the Long Bridge, the railroad bridge over the Potomac River in Southwest Washington, DC. The Long Bridge serves passenger, rail, and commuter traffic for CSX, Amtrak, and Virginia Railway Express (VRE) and is owned by CSX.

The purpose of the meeting is to introduce the project to the public and receive feedback and input on access and mobility needs.  We hope you will be able to attend the meeting. Comments can be provided at the meeting, mailed or submitted electronically to info@longbridgeproject.com.
