(Washington, DC) Mayor Vincent C. Gray and representatives from the District Department of Transportation’s (DDOT) DC Streetcar Team will be providing a comprehensive update on the H Street/Benning Road streetcar line at a public meeting on Tuesday, December 6.

At this meeting DDOT will be presenting and seeking public input on the route alternatives that are being considered to create an interim connection to Union Station and the various architectural elements that are under consideration for the operations base and maintenance facility that is planned for 26th Street and Benning Road, NE. DDOT will also share details about the upcoming pole and overhead wire installation activities that will be taking place along the line.
