(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) recently installed new upgraded printers at the Public Space Permit Kiosks located at Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) stations.

The new printers represent the latest step in a process to deliver online and convenient services for citizens to obtain public space permits.

Customers are currently able to apply, pay for and print permits online from anywhere by using DDOT’s Transportation Online Permit System (TOPS) External Website and print Emergency No Parking and Reserved Parking signs at MPD Stations 24/7/365. Signs may not be printed at the First District Station at 101 M Street, SW as it is located two blocks away from the DDOT Public Space Permitting Center.

Information about DDOT’s Public Space Permits is available online at DDOT.DC.gov.

Questions, comments or suggestions about DDOT’s permit services may be directed to (202) 442-4670.
