(Washington, DC) – The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will host an outreach event on December 4, 2012 to help Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) and the District’s Certified Business Enterprises (CBE) learn more about accessing Megaproject contract opportunities related to the agency’s Anacostia Waterfront Initiative (AWI) program, 11th Street Bridge, and DC Streetcar projects. This session is intended to provide CBE and DBE consultants and contractors with the information and access to resources needed to expand their business.
Participants will be able to ask questions that are critical for targeting specific project opportunities and networking. Panelists will include a representative from each of the Megaproject teams and General Contractors and Design-Build teams.
