DDOT Issues Invitation for Bids (IFB) for Centralized Dynamic Message Sign (DMS) System

(Washington, DC) – The District Department of Transportation desires to solicit bids for DDOT Centralized Dynamic Message Sign (DMS) System Design and Integration — Citywide Installation of 11 Dynamic Message. The invitation number is DCKA-2012-B-0076 (Open Market). The work consist furnishing and installing Light Emitting Diode (LED) Dynamic Message Sign (DMS) structures and furnishing, installing and testing LED DMS with associated equipment cabinets and central software as specified in this specification.

  • Plans will accompany the specifications.
  • This is a Federal funded Project.
  • The cost per set of specifications is $75.00 and can be picked up at 2000 14th Street, NW, 3rd Floor Bid Room, from 8:15 am to 4:45 pm.

The work under this contract consists of the following, plus other related items.

A BID BOND IN THE AMOUNT OF 5% OF THE AMOUNT IS REQUIRED.

Wage Rates have been predetermined by the Secretary of the Department of Labor and are included in this proposal.

During the performance of the Contract, the Contractor and any of its subcontractors shall comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended. This Act provides that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color or national origin, be excluded from participation in, or be denied the benefits of or be subject to discrimination in federally funded program and activities.  See 42 U.S.C. §2000d et. seq.
