DDOT Suspends All DC Circulator Service
(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation has announced the DC Circulator is ending service on all routes, as of 12:30 pm, due to deteriorating weather conditions and the inability for buses to make their way safely through the city in white-out conditions. WMATA Metrobus told drivers at 11:30 am to complete their routes and return to their home garage; therefore Metrobus service will also be suspended until further notice.
At this time, the Circulator plans to begin service two hours late on Sunday morning; the system will open at 9 am instead of 7 am to allow sufficient time to clear the routes before restarting operation.
