District Department of Transportation's (DDOT) Office of Communications, a division of the DDOT Office of Director, represents and promotes the agency and its administration, employees, programs and policies to a variety of internal and external constituents. The office provides strategic communication consultation, media relation efforts, strategic Web communication and event planning services on behalf of DDOT, its employees, administrators, programs and staff, and coordinates activities to promote the Government of the District of Columbia officials and its expertise to internal and external constituencies.
Our office is also available to assist with publicity efforts for the agency. We draft press releases, media advisories, fact sheets, op-eds and other materials to publicize news for transportation programs, studies and research and/or the agency. We promote stories to reporters and distribute information to news organizations in Washington, DC and throughout the world.
