The expanded Online Construction Permit Application Intake (OCPI)-now allows all construction permit types. Fill in a separate application for each type of permit (fence, shed, garage, retaining wall, etc.). After you fill in the online form, please print it or write down the FJ number and get the required signatures (Please note: You must fill in all required fields identified by an asterisk(*) before you can save the application.)

Bring the completed application along with your plan drawings and other supporting documentation to DCRA at 1100 4th St SW for processing. These additional documents

that you need to fill out in advance and bring with you to DCRA are found at this link here. Please print and fill out the forms before submitting your application.

You have 30 days from the day you create the application to update any information (except the property address). To update or reprint your application, you will need the property address, and the Online Intake Tracking (FJ) number. The tracking number is generated after you complete the application. It appears on the top right-hand corner of the completed application.
