 Get a Swimming Pool LicenseThis classification applies if you offer customers the use of swimming facilities (indoor or outdoor), with or without a use fee. Get a Massage Establishment LicenseThis classification applies if you provide personal care services involving massages, Turkish, Russian, or medicated baths. No license is issued under DC Code Section 47-2811 without the approval of the Chief of Police. Get a Health Spa LicenseThis classification is for a proposed or existing location or organization with indoor or outdoor facilities for physical sport, exercise, training, or therapy or rehabilitation. It does not include any location, the primary activity of which is training or instruction in a specific skill, such as dance, or swimming. It does not include any location which is operated primarily by a not-for-profit organization.  Get a Beauty Shop LicenseThis classification applies to businesses/persons engaged in the practice of cosmetology and cosmetology specialties (manicurist, esthetic, electrolysis, braiding). This includes all portions of the premises under the control of the owner or manager of the business that are used in part or in whole for the conduct of the business. Beauty Schools are included. Get a Barber Shop LicenseThis classification applies to any building or portion of a building, vehicle, and station in which any person is engaged in the practice of barbering. For the purposes of this chapter, this term includes barber schools.
