Inspected Sales and Services licenses cover Ambulances, Auctioneer, Pawnbrokers, Pet Shops, Secondhand Dealers and security-related businesses, among others.

Get an Auctioneer License

Auctioneer is a person, firm, partnership, association, organization, or corporation conducting auctions for an existing charitable, benevolent, humane, religious, philanthropic, recreational, social, educational, civic, fraternal, or other nonprofit purpose.

Get an Auction Sales License

Establishments retailing a general line of new and used merchandise on an auction basis. Sale of any real or personal property at public auction in the District of Columbia must be conducted by a duly licensed auctioneer (crier).

Get an Ambulance License

This classification applies if you provide transportation of patients by ground along with medical care. These services are often provided during a medical emergency but are not restricted to emergencies. Vehicles are equipped with lifesaving equipment operated by medically trained personnel.

Get a Temporary Auctioneer License

Temporary auctioneer is a person, firm, partnership, association, organization, or corporation conducting auctions for an existing charitable, benevolent, humane, religious, philanthropic, recreational, social, educational, civic, fraternal, or other nonprofit purpose. A temporary auctioneer license shall be valid for a period of not more than seven (7) calendar days.

Get a Security Alarm Dealer License

his classification means any person engaged in the business of selling, leasing, renting, installing, inspecting, maintaining, servicing, or repairing alarm systems or their components, or receiving alarm signals from a subscriber and relaying information about the signals to the Metropolitan Police Department or DC Fire and Emergency Services Department for response to the scene.

This classification mean any employee of a security alarm dealer whose duties include the installation, inspection, maintenance, service or repair of alarm systems.

This classification means any individual or firm engaged in the business of providing security services.

Get a Secondhand Dealer A License

A second-hand dealer, Class A, is a person, firm, or corporation other than a Class B or Class C engaged in the business of buying selling, trading, exchanging, or dealing in second-hand personal property of any description (other than motor vehicles) including the return of unused portion of any railroad ticket, order, or token.

Get a Pawnbroker License

Any person who shall in any manner lend or advance money or other things for profit on pledge and possession of personal property or other valuable thing, other than securities or written or printed evidences of indebtedness or who deals in the purchasing of personal property or other valuable thing on condition of selling the same back again at a stipulated price, and shall include all pawnbrokers.
