DCRA’s new Green Building Program offers Sustainability internship
Overview: The District of Columbia Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs is now offering an exciting internship in Washington DC. DCRA’s internship in the newly created Green Building Program is geared to provide excellent exposure in the regulatory realm of sustainable design and construction practices. This is an ideal opportunity architecture, engineering, and construction management students with interest in Green Building or sustainability. Interns will gain invaluable experience and possible college credit; however, students will not receive monetary compensation for their participation.
Requisite: Prospective candidate shall be a graduate or undergraduate student in good standing or a recent graduate from college within the 12 months of beginning the internship.
Commitment: Interns will be working under the supervision of the Green Building Program Manager.
The intern will be working 24 to 40 hours per week for an approximately 3 to 6 month term during summer, fall or winter/spring.
Application Procedure: Candidates must complete an application form and submit it with a copy of their resume. All application items must be submitted together. Application and resume will be reviewed by DCRA Managers who will select highly qualified candidates for interviews. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

• Summer Internship Program: March 15
• Fall Internship: July 15
• Winter/Spring Internship: Feb 15
