Established by the District of Columbia government and run by the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO), DC-Net is a fiber optic based metropolitan area network that provides fully redundant, secure, high-speed transport of data, voice, video, and wireless telecommunications services for government and public safety purposes throughout the District of Columbia.
